Audio Visual Technology
We understand every event is unique, therefore, we are able to offer a range of additional technological services which can be made subject to requirements, to support and enhance your event. Rooms have a standard minimum specification of audio visual equipment that can be hired. Additional equipment can also be requested. Equipment in rooms can be operated via a touch panel situated on the lectern.

• Tie Clip Radio Microphone (available in rooms over 100 capacity)
• Hand Held Radio Microphone (available in rooms over 100 capacity)
• Writing surface (whiteboard or Glassboard)

Turning Point software allows you to in-corporate voting slides within PowerPoint to allow for interaction from the audience. TurningPoint can also be great tool to gauge conference feedback from delegates.
Echo360 Lecture Capture
Lecture Capture can be used to record sessions to allow delegates to review the sessions or for delegates that are unable to attend. This is also a good option if there are multiple sessions running at the same time.
The system is a web based solution and captures video of the speaker, audio and slides. The recordings are held on University servers for a period of time.
Inductions loops can be found in most teaching rooms to ensure hard of hearing delegates can pick-up the audio from any speaker or source being used. Teaching Support can also provide a portable option in any room that is not equipped.
Various exhibition equipment can be hired from Teaching Support including Laptops, LED screens at various sizes, PA systems and Video cameras etc. Any equipment that we do not stock can be hired in.
Technical support can be hired to ensure the event runs smoothly. This can be for a demonstration and handover of the equipment, duration of the event or just at key times.
